How to Reset the Brush Tool (PSE & PS)

There are many reasons why you might want to reset your Brush tool. Among them are:

• The Brush tool is not acting like it should.
• You want to remove any changes previously made to a default or imported/loaded brush.
  
  

Instructions for Photoshop Elements:

• Get the Brush tool.
• In the Tool Options, open the flyout menu, and choose Reset Tool.

Instructions for Adobe Photoshop:

• Get the Brush tool.
• In the Tool Options, open the Tool Preset Picker, open the flyout menu, and choose Reset tool.
