How to Join Digital Scrapper's Community (on Circle)
How To Join Our Community
Here's what you need to know:
- Digital Scrapper Community is hosted on Circle. It contains a mix of public and private spaces. You have to be a member of Community in order to participate.
- To become a member of Community, you will need to:
- 1️⃣ Join our school, which is hosted on Teachable. This will create your very own classroom where you will be able to view all of the classes you are enrolled in. You do not have to enroll in a class in order to join our school.
- 2️⃣ Connect your classroom to our community.
- 3️⃣ Authorize the connection. This keeps the weirdos and bad guys out of our little slice of peacefulness.
- Sound difficult? It's not. I'll show you how below.
- Digital Scrapper Community is managed with the same login information you use for your Digital Scrapper Classes account, called an SSO--Single Sign On.
- You will not be a member of Community until you complete all three steps.
Step 1️⃣: Join Our School
If you're already a member of Digital Scrapper Classes (QwikLearn), you do not need to complete this step.
- Click here to JOIN OUR SCHOOL.
- Add an email address. This is your school ID.
TIP: If you subscribe to our weekly newsletter, use the same email address for your school account. - Add a secure password.
- Add an email address. This is your school ID.
- Step 1 is now finished! Woot.
Step 2️⃣: Connect Your Classroom To Community
If you're already a member of Digital Scrapper's Community, you do not need to complete this step.
- Click here to JOIN OUR COMMUNITY.
- You will be asked to enter an email and password. Enter the same email address and password you use for your classroom. This is vital to connect your classroom and our Community.
- Then, click Log In.
STEP 3️⃣: Authorize the Connection (SSO) Being Made
We need you to authorize Circle (our Community host) to connect with Digital Scrapper Classes (QwikLearn). You will be asked to authorize the connection.
- This authorization/connection will not access any private data or payment information.
- This authorization/connection is not connected to Facebook or any other website in any way.
- This is just one more way to make sure the bad guys stay away!
When you see this screen, simply click Authorize.
You are now ready to access Digital Scrapper's Community (on Circle.)
